53 Radio

A radio was included with the53.
It had obviously been installed at one time, but was loose when I got the car.
The radio is a Sears Allstate All-Transistor model
with
a switchable ground plug
.
Vintage is probably early 60's. The speaker is on the bottom. The
right front quarter panel has the standard pair of holes where an antenna had
been mounted. I recently applied power to the radio with a length of wire
shoved into the antenna socket --- IT WORKS.
I don't intend to reinstall the radio when I put the car back together, so I've begun looking for a good home for it.
