TD Carburetors and Manifolds
I am thinking of selling a complete carburetor set up that I no longer need. I have the assembly consisting of the block intake manifold, both rebuilt carbs with all the ancillary links and pieces and even the aluminum air intake manifold. The carbs were rebuilt as new (by Joe Curto, I think) and have never been used. They were supposed to be dedicated to my spare engine but the supercharger has changed all that. No need to keep two sets of carbs and maybe as time goes on, I will decide I don't even need one set!
Since putting this together concerning the carbs, manifolds and linkages I need to get rid of, I have checked in the Abingdon Spares Catalog. Excluding the rebuilt, unused, carburetors, the two manifolds and all the linkage parts add up to about $575. I used the prices for the two manifolds as used since new are no longer available. Some of the linkage parts are new and others are used but quite serviceable. So at the moment, 12/29/05, I'm still working on establishing a price.
