TD Bonnet Prop from David DuBois
I have attached three pictures of a bonnet stay I made up for
our TD. While it only allows for one side to be open at a time, it does get the
bonnet up far enough to make work in the engine compartment easier than others I
have seen (which are better for shows). It might be added that if the grove at
the top of the stick were made deeper (or if there were aluminum sides attached
at the top) where the rod hooks on the bonnet latch, it would make the prop more
less apt to slide off of the latch.
