The purpose of this page is to provide help and information about using the CD ROM issued by The New England MG T Register (NEMGTR) containing the issues of The Sacred Octagon (TSO) for 1964-2004.  Much work has been done by Larry Shoer in creating a faster index for the data files.  Below are Larry's instructions for his search utility.
 Description:

The New England MG T Register (NEMGTR) CD-ROM is an electronic copy of all articles from the Register’s periodical, The Sacred Octagon, from the first issue in 1964 to the most recent issue in December 2004.  As released, the CD-ROM does not have an efficient way to search all issues for a particular set of keywords.  This search capability is provided with the TSO Search Utility, which can be downloaded from this site.  The TSO Search Utility was created by Larry Shoer and extends the operation of your PDF file viewer, either Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Reader.

To use the TSO Search Utility you should first download TSOSearchInstructions.PDF.  Read the directions to determine if the TSO Search Utility can be installed on your computer.  Please note: You will need approximately 450 MB of disk space for BOTH the contents of the TSO CD-ROM and the TSO Search Utility to reside on your disk drive.  Next, download the search utility TSOSearch.ZIP.  This file is large, approximately 14 MB, and will take awhile to download if you have a dial-up connection.  You must have an “unzip” program on your computer to unpack the ZIP file.  Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
